From Pescara you can reach Nocciano in only 30 minutes by car.
The small village is located on a hill between the Pescara and Nora rivers, overlooking montain Gran Sasso to the North and montain Majella to the South.
We suggest visiting the Church of Saint Lorenzo (recentely restored) and the Castle (it has a Museum of Modern arts inside).

After that, you can visit Bosco's winery. Here you can tast different wines(from €5,00 to €10,00).
If you want to visit other medieval churches you should go to Santa Maria Maggiore (XII century) just outside of the village of Pianella and Santa Maria del Lago (second half of the XII cent.) just outside of the village of Moscufo.

In October and November it's possible to visit oil presses.
